Dear Friends of the Blade,
in the light of the current corona crises, the multi-national background of our exhibitors, and the expected number of several thousand visitors, we deem it inevitable to cancel KNIFE 2020. We do this only with the greatest regrets. With almost 180 registered exhibitors, KNIFE 2020 had the potential to become a truly remarkable event.
However, we want to look positively into the future: KNIFE 2021 will take place 15/16 May 2021, at Theater und Konzerthaus (Theater and Concert Hall) Solingen. We are looking forward to this celebration of knife making. Together with you, the visitors, with the exhibitors, and with our cooperation partners, we will then enjoy everything we have to miss this year.
In the last weeks and months, we were grateful and happy to see how eagerly the “knife scene” anticipated KNIFE 2020. We have therefore decided to install a “virtual KNIFE”, which will go online at 10:00 CET on 9 May. It will let you enjoy the products originally intended for the show, and allow you to make contact with the makers if you are interested in a purchase. Further information will follow shortly.
We wish you all the best for the coming weeks and months – stay safe and healthy.
See you in 2021!
